FREQUENTLY ASKED STUIO QUESTIONS
1. WHEN IS TUITION DUE?
Our tuition is based on an annual tuition amount and is due at time of registration. If you select to pay monthly installments, your credit card will be automatically charged on the 28th of the month for your next payment. The last payment for the regular season will be shared on April 28th.
2. ARE PARENTS ABLE TO WATCH CLASS?
Each studio has a viewing window in the door to the class parents are able to watch through. However, we ask that if your child is easily distracted that you watch from a distance.
3. HOW DO I KNOW IF MY CHILD IS IN THE CORRECT LEVEL CLASS?
Teachers meet with the director on a monthly basis to discuss the students progress. It is decided by the director, with the input of the teacher, to place the student where they will have the best success. Teachers or the director will meet with a parent if the student should need to change levels.
4. DO I GET A DISCOUNT IF MY CHILD MISSES CLASS OR IF THE STUDIO IS CLOSED?
NO. The tuition is based on a yearly price broken up into 10 monthly payments. If a student misses class there is no refund or discount. The student may be able to make up the class if there is a similar class offered during the week and that the student has he teachers permission. TUITION IS NOT REDUCED FOR SHORTER MONTHS. All students will receive the same amount of classes throughout the year.
5. CAN MY CHILD MAKE UP A CLASS THAT THEY MISSED?
YES – IF there is an equivalent class during the week and with the teachers approval. During the second half of the year – as we are closer to recital – it may not be possible to make up classes due to each class learning their specific dance for the recital.
6. WHAT ARE THE RECITAL FEES AND WHEN DO WE PAY THEM?
COSTUME FEES – A letter outlining your students costume fees will be sent home in October. All costumes purchases $80-$130. Costume fees are based on the class level. Each class will perform a separate dance. Costume fees are due October 16th.
PERFORMANCE FEE – A $60 per student performance fee will be due on March 15th.
7. WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR TO DANCE CLASS?

8. WHERE DO WE PURCHASE THE PROPER DANCE ATTIRE?
We recommend purchasing dance attire from our boutique at the studio. Call the studio for a time to be fitted. We also recommend these local dance stores below:

9. WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SPEAK WITH A TEACHER OR THE DIRECTOR?
Parents should make an appointment at the front desk to speak with a teacher or the director. Between classes is NOT the appropriate time to speak with teachers – this is a teachers time to prepare for their next class.
