Why should my dancer participate in Tampa Bay Dance Theatre?

•Tampa Bay Dance Theatre (TBDT) was established to provide those students, with a love for performing and a desire for continuing education, additional exposure to audition, performance, choreography, and coaching opportunities.

•Dancers are also given additional opportunities to work with Master Teachers, Master Choreographers, and Professional Guest Artists.

•Dancers will have the opportunity to perform in during the dance season.

•Whether your dancer has ambitions to dance post- high school in a college or dance professional setting or just wants to be educated to the best of his/her ability, Tampa Bay Dance Theatre aims to equip each dancer with the tools to have a higher understanding of the professional dance world upon graduation.
How does my dancer become a member of TBDT?
We will hold auditions for TBDT Saturday, August 24, 2024. Acceptance into TBDT is determined by the dancer’s desire and commitment towards dance and his or her potential and technical and artistic ability.
What does my TBDT membership fees go toward?
In order to ensure that we can afford the dancers a quality experience, we ask that the dancers pay a fee toward their participation in TBDT.
